It's not a gig, but I'll take it

Recently I started thinking about writing. It's funny, but I always thought that the best way to get published is to write a book. I know, silly logic. Then when you write the book, you have no credentials that say you're experienced to be doing this at all.

It's like deciding you want to get into carpentry and starting with a house. Moving on....

I started writing articles. Nothing too fancy but something to pass the time. I realized I had fun doing it.

Now that I have a few articles on some free sites, I'm just spreading the word. My second ezinearticles article is being featured online and in their RSS feed. That's pretty cool!

I have no idea what it means, but I'm excited. The article is pretty fun for a standard fashion article. If you want to check it out, you can do so here.

I'm not exactly new to the internet, but I am new to blogging. To get started I thought I would post a little bit about myself!

I'm married, but not too old. Actually I'm at that age where I'm not a young adult any longer. I'm an actual adult! So to most people this means I should have children, which I don't. So at the very least they think I should want kids. Which sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. But why should the state of my reproductive system be something anyone can ask you just because you're married?

Very interesting.

My husband is a writer and computer programmer. He's combined those skills and opened up two really cool sites. One is a site where you can shop by price from eBay, Amazon, Overstock, Yahoo. I love writing and reading. I've just recently started a my first lense over at Squidoo which is chronically my journey to become a published author.
